Since 2016, The Forbes Cloud 100 has recognized and celebrated the world’s top 100 private cloud companies and is a collaboration by Bessemer Venture Partners, Salesforce Ventures and Forbes. Companies named to the list are recognized within the industry as top-tier private ventures leading the cloud and AI technology revolution.
This year, Automation Anywhere has been included yet again on the Forbes Cloud 100 list, this time at No. 45 (37th in 2023, 43rd in 2022), which is the best result among process automation vendors (if we don’t take into account the process mining company Celonis, which is ranked 13th on the list).
To recap, Automation Anywhere was founded in 2003 by CEO Mihir Shukla, Neeti Mehta, Ankur Kothari and Rushabh Parmani, with the vision of creating software that automates repetitive tasks like processing accounting paperwork for businesses. The company has since raised $820 million in funding and its automation suite is used by more than 5,000 businesses including Dell, PNC Bank, FedEx and Paramount. In January, the company unveiled a new AI system that uses generative artificial intelligence to automate more complex tasks. One application of this is its new AI Agent Studio, a low-code environment for building customized generative AI agents that can learn over time.
