Everest Group's Task Mining Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023: What's new?

Task mining plays a key role in improving operational excellence, filling the automation pipeline, and accelerating organizations’ digital transformation journeys by providing a data-based approach to process optimization and automation. It can help achieve cost savings, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance employee experience. However, to achieve success, it is critical for enterprises to select the right-fit task mining technology partners.

In the report mentioned in the title, Everest Group examines the most prominent task mining technology providers and position them on Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix® as Leaders, Major Contenders, and Aspirants based on their capabilities and offerings. In turn, RPA Master reports what most notable changes have happened compared to the previous report, issued in 2022:

  1. Soroco

— As the absolute Leader, it increased the gap from the closest pursuers, NICE and Nintex, and in addition, became a Star Performer.

  1. UiPath

— moved from the Major Contenders to the Leaders thanks to “continuous investment in product enhancements, integration with its automation capabilities, and strong YOY growth in its task mining revenue and client base.”
