Laiye Acquires French Chatbot Provider Mindsay

One of the Niche Players in 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for RPA, Laiye today announced its acquisition of Mindsay, a leading European enterprise chatbot and voicebot platform. The addition of conversational artificial intelligence advances Laiye’s goal of becoming the leading provider of next-generation Intelligent Automation software worldwide. Laiye also plans to set up a new R&D hub in Paris. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been revealed.

This deal will further enhance Laiye’s capabilities regarding automation products, expand the application of industry solutions and accelerate the transformation of intelligent automation in global organizations in the post-pandemic era.

Founded in 2016, Mindsay works with brands across a variety of industries such as retail, fintech, mobility, travel and hospitality, including hotels, airlines, airports, online travel agencies and rail companies. Its artificial intelligence-based solutions automate up to 80% of customer requests and can respond in 110 languages.

After the acquisition, Guillaume Laporte will become the general manager of Laiye’s international chatbot business, and will report directly to Hu Yichuan, Co-founder and CTO of Laiye.
