Nintex is a privately held software company founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2006 to help businesses streamline workflows. Nintex is now headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. The Company offers document generation, workflow automation, and related software. Nintex entered Gartner Magic Quadrant for RPA as a Niche Player in 2021. In the same year, the company announced it would sell a majority stake in the company to TPG Capital. A few months later, Nintex made its first acquisition under TPG, the Israel-based process discovery innovator and RPA leader Kryon.

- The company was acquired by TA Associates and Updata Partners in 2013. According to The Wall Street Journal, the takeover offer estimated the company’s value at $222 million.
- In February 2018, Thoma Bravo announced it had purchased a majority stake in Nintex, though TA Associates and Updata still maintain a stake in the company.
- In March 2019, Nintex acquired robotic process automation provider EnableSoft for an undisclosed amount.
