SBI AntWorks Asia Concludes a Partner Agreement with NEC to Boost Its Sales in Japan

A joint venture company co-founded by the SBI Group and Singapore startup AntWorks, SBI AntWorks Asia Co., Ltd. , which promotes and sells Intelligent Automation solutions for the Japanese market, recently announced it will partner with NEC Corporation on the sale and implementation of SBI AntWorks’ QueenBOT RPA, Process Discovery as well as the CMR+ Intelligent Document Processing platform.

NEC has been driving Digital Transformation (DX) and Business Process Automation across a wide range of organizations by capitalizing on its cutting-edge ICT experience, and is one of the earliest adopters of RPA solutions in Japan.

AntWorks’ integrated automation portfolio for the Japanese market consists of QueenBOT RPA, Process Discovery and “Cognitive Machine Reading+”(CMR+), which are all powered by proprietary AI. The products aim at understanding challenges within enterprise processes, digitizing legacy systems with RPA-based automation, and unlocking information from documents.

SBI AntWorks and NEC agreed on the partnership as NEC was seeking to introduce integrated automation to small and mid-sized companies and to the Public Sector in Japan.

Furthermore, with this partnership, NEC also aims to expand its product portfolio of DX solutions in support of customers across a wide range of business segments.

“We are very pleased to partner with SBI AntWorks as we begin to offer their QueenBOT RPA as part of NEC’s RPA solutions for accelerating customers’ process automation initiatives. NEC helps customers to achieve optimal business outcomes and increase employee engagement through Smart Work, and we believe this partnership will make important contributions to that goal.”
