UiPath Has Its First Quarter of GAAP Profitability

The biggest headline from UiPath’s fourth quarter financial report: the vendor achieved its first quarterly operating profit (+$15m for Q4) as a public company! UiPath continues to benefit from a more disciplined approach to growth having initially struggled in the Public Market since its IPO in April 2021. Looking forward, UiPath expects to continue in the same direction of travel with FY 2025 revenue in the range of $1.555bn to $1.56bn (growth of c.16%), ARR in the range of $1.725bn to $1.73bn, and a (Non-GAAP) operating profit of approximately $295m (up from $233m).

“We delivered a strong close to the fiscal year with fourth quarter ARR growing 22% year-over-year to $1.464 billion, underscoring the meaningful outcomes our Business Automation Platform delivers for our customers. The combination of UiPath’s AI and automation is the strategic change enabler for our customers that makes any digital transformation easier and faster, while empowering customers to innovate, adapt more quickly, and grow.”

Rob Enslin, Chief Executive Officer, UiPath

“The team executed well in the fourth quarter and I am particularly pleased with our significant year-over-year increase in operating margins, including our first quarter of GAAP profitability as a public company, and record cash flow. Looking ahead to fiscal year 2025, this afternoon’s guidance reflects typical seasonal patterns in the business as well as our plans to strategically invest to further expand our market leadership while continuing to drive operating leverage.”
