Romania and Moldova recently signed a trilateral agreement with UiPath with the aim of advancing digitalization projects in both countries. The Cooperation Agreement between the governments of the two countries and UiPath comes after a trilateral discussion on the digital ecosystem in Romania and the Republic of Moldova and the pressing need for the two states to develop and launch joint initiatives for digital transformation.
At the signing ceremony of the collaboration agreement, Mateusz Majewski, Regional VP of Eastern Europe at UiPath, joined Mr. Iurie Turcanu, Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization of Moldova, and Mr. Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Research, Innovation & Digitalization in Romania.
UiPath’s role will be to support governmental efforts to develop information technology in the public and private sectors in Romania and the Republic of Moldova through improved digital infrastructure, modern policies, and widely disseminated digital skills. The company will also aid the development of a common digital space to increase the quality of electronic services and ensure a safe digital environment for all citizens of Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
