UiPath Hired Its First-ever Co-CEO to Focus on Scaling the Business

Recently, UiPath announced that the former Google Cloud executive Robert Enslin (pictured) is joining the company’s executive team to become Co-Chief Executive Officer effective May 16, 2022. Let’s learn the answers to the two related questions: Why a co-CEO? And why Robert?

According to UiPath leader Daniel Dines, the Co-CEO structure is the right one for their business as they grow a global, publicly traded company at scale. In this position, Robert Enslin will focus on scaling the business, which allows Daniel to concentrate on the company culture, vision, and product innovation. These are the areas he has been the most passionate about since UiPath was founded, and where he can ensure that they build a company where you want to come to work every day and that delivers the greatest value to the customers.

Robert has spent the last three years as the President of Google Cloud, overseeing phenomenal growth as it has become a much larger player in the enterprise cloud space. Prior to joining Google Cloud, he was an SAP executive and was named an Executive Board Member at SAP in 2014. Robert joined SAP in 1992 as employee 1,200; when he departed in 2019, SAP had reached nearly €25 billion in revenues, over 400,000 customers, and with more than 100,000 employees around the globe.

With UiPath expected to surpass $1 billion in revenue and ARR in fiscal year 2023 in a total addressable automation market of $60 billion, the partnership of Dines and Enslin positions UiPath to extend its market leadership to meet the growing demand for automation.
