How does an automation company automate itself? The UiPath team hears this question pretty often. No surprise! If they encourage lots of enterprises to become fully automated, it’s reasonable that UiPath itself must be one of them. Last week, the company reported its Q3 2022 Financial results. But they also go on announcing the latest stats from UiPath’s own enterprise-wide automation program led by their automation Center of Excellence (CoE). Here are the details.

In the third quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year (FY) 2022, UiPath robots added 93,028 hours of extra capacity for Finance, Sales, Marketing, and beyond. This beats the previous quarterly record of 69,973 hours (Q2) of additional capacity by 32%.

Let’s look at one example of how this notable result was achieved. Here’s how the CoE automates the automation project management process. Leveraging UiPath Apps, a low code way to build interfaces for automation, the CoE takes an automation idea from UiPath Automation Hub and automatically pre-populates a Jira entry with the necessary fields. This saves the team from a bunch of manual copying and pasting work, ultimately delivering back 2500 minutes for the team.
